Rules for account details, usage records, and data management.
This policy applies to data processing across the VPNShort marketing website, user panel, and subscription services. Account and order details are used to provide services, while website analytics help us understand how pages are used. These are separate from content accessed through international routes. Data processing by third-party websites and payment services is governed by their respective policies.
Account and Order Information
No email address is needed to create an account; a username and password are enough. An email address is not required to register and is not collected when you browse the marketing pages. If you voluntarily provide an email address or other details in a support ticket, that information is used only to handle the request. Please do not submit personal information unrelated to the issue.
Account identifiers, plan status, data usage, and order records are used for authentication, subscription delivery, usage calculation, and support. Order records include the selected plan, amount, payment status, and transaction reference. Account passwords and subscription links are sensitive credentials and should not be shared in public comments or unredacted screenshots.
No-Logs Policy and Connection Diagnostics
VPNShort follows a no-logs policy: it does not record which websites users access through subscription services, store browsing history, destination URLs, or communications, or create account-linked browsing records. Total data usage used to measure a plan is not a record of websites visited.
This service does not retain connection logs that could be used to reconstruct an individual's network activity. Temporary diagnostic information needed to troubleshoot issues is limited to error types, client environment, and essential connection status; it should not include the content being accessed. This information is deleted when diagnosis is complete or the purpose for processing has ended. Diagnostic attachments submitted by users are handled as ticket records. Please redact passwords, subscription links, and other credentials before submitting them.
Access Analytics and Local Storage
The marketing website may collect information about page visits, referral pages, device and browser categories, and link clicks to assess whether content is easy to find and links work as expected. This analytics data concerns pages on this website; it is not used to record other websites visited through subscription services.
Cookies and local storage are used to maintain login sessions and save language preferences and necessary interface settings. Login credentials stored in your browser identify an authenticated session; do not share them with others. You can clear this data through your browser settings. Afterward, you may need to log in again or select your preferences, but this will not automatically delete your server-side account or orders. Restricting browser storage may also affect panel features.
Third-Party Payments and Data Sharing
VPNShort supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payments are processed by the relevant third-party payment service or transaction network. Please verify the payment page and transaction details. This service confirms orders using the order reference and payment result; customer support will not ask you for your payment password.
Necessary order information may be exchanged between this service and payment processors to complete and reconcile transactions. Data and transaction records processed independently by third parties are subject to their policies and cannot be removed by deleting a VPNShort account. Account details that identify a user are not shared externally except where necessary to provide the service, with user authorization, or as required by applicable law.
Data Retention and Deletion Requests
Account details are retained for as long as needed to provide account features. Order and support records are retained as needed for reconciliation, dispute handling, and applicable legal requirements. Temporary diagnostic information is deleted when its purpose has been fulfilled, and access analytics are retained only as long as needed for analysis and maintenance. This policy does not set a uniform retention period without a confirmed basis; each data type is retained only for its actual processing purpose.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of account details through a user panel support ticket. Account ownership must be verified before processing. Deletion may prevent continued use of subscriptions and account features. Records that must be retained by law or to resolve outstanding matters will have their use restricted and will be handled once the reason for retention no longer applies. Clearing browser data does not count as an account deletion request.
Policy Updates and Questions
This policy will be updated on this page if data uses, service features, or applicable requirements change, and the month shown at the top of the page will be revised. Significant changes to the scope of data processing will be announced on the website or in the user panel. New uses that require user authorization will be implemented only after the relevant authorization is obtained.
